SMALL GROUPS
Regardless of where you are spiritually we believe it is important for college students to get connected, and small groups are a great way to do just that. Relationships will be built, knowledge about the Bible gained, and you will have the opportunity to grow closer to God.
FIRST WEDNESDAY
First Wednesday is a time for our monthly celebration of the Lord's Supper, and an in-depth biblical teaching from Senior Pastor Jim White at Meck’s main campus. Every monthly service is a great step for investing in your spiritual journey and taking it to that next level.
MECK INSTITUTE
The Meck Institute is an education program at Mecklenburg Community Church that seeks to promote biblical knowledge and spiritual growth through various classes and seminars. Think "community college" with an emphasis on the Christian worldview! And while as a college student you have enough homework and take plenty of classes, there is not an expectation of doing a lot of homework and making the grade with these classes. There are many classes offered at Meck’s main campus where you can view the course catalog and get registered. In addition, there is one class being offered on the campus of UNC-Charlotte this fall.

SERVING OPPORTUNITIES
Interested in Serving? Well at MECK you can do just that in many ways. Each month we have weekend serve days where we go on campus, or out into the greater Charlotte community to serve others. Whether that is with Habitat for Humanity, Crisis Assistance Ministry, Soup Kitchens or other areas, know that at MECK you can make a difference in others lives by serving. We believe that all people matter to God, and therefore we are going to commit to showing them Christ’s love through acts of service.
